All I wanted last year for Christmas was Google’s Website Optimizer; and just like Atari, Garbage Pail Kids, and the Walkman it is no longer available. Some aspects of Website Optimizer have now been incorporated into Google Analytics Content Experiments for any digital marketer who may chose to use Google’s product for their split tests. Split testing (or A/B testing) is one of the most common forms of testing to evaluate creative and landing page effectiveness…or in our case Christmas Tree designs. Before next Holiday Season split your friends into 2 groups, show them different Christmas Trees, and evaluate the results because all I want for Christmas next year is an optimized Christmas Tree!
